Monica Street is a multimedia artist and jeweler. In the past she has taught for the Drachen Foundation, Seattle Public Library, James Washington Foundation, Tacoma Art Museum, BARN, Gage Academy, North Seattle College, NW Rockhounds, Pratt Fine Arts Center, Coyote Central and Seattle Public Schools at the elementary to college level.
Street is the former Jewelry/Metals and Sculpture Studios Manager at Pratt Fine Arts Center. During her time there, she helped get the Bronze Pour back online after the COVID closure. She also spent many years teaching the lost wax casting method with Brandon Bowman.
In 2017 her work was exhibited at the Washington State Convention Center for the SMG Biennial and the Ron Ho Show at POTS Gallery in Fremont. In 2018, she was selected for the Lusio show in Seattle’s Volunteer Park to present Crystal Cave, her geometric light installation which was supported by a successful community crowdfunding campaign. Her work was also chosen for a Director’s Choice Award at the 2019 Pratt Auction.
She currently works as production manager for the bell maker Gordon Barnett of GRB Bells and plans to take the business over in 2026. In her free time she sews as a top stitcher for Dog House Leathers and free dives in the Salish Sea.

She is the former Vice President of the Seattle Metals Guild and a current member of the American Bell Association.
